RB Journal: A Personal Journal of Becoming

This is the story behind the journal — and the girl who dreamed it first.

A personal journal of self-discovery, conscious living & quiet reclamation.

As an early 90s tween — and devoted Girlfriend magazine reader — I dreamed of writing for a publication. I’d imagine flipping open the glossy pages and seeing my name beneath the kind of stories that made me feel something. Back then, I didn’t have the language for what I longed for, but I knew I wanted to create something real. Something reflective. Something that told the truth about what it means to grow up, to become, to live.

RB Journal is me writing that dream into being.

Not for an audience. Not for approval. But for the little girl who always wanted to create something of her own.

This space is part journal, part reflection, part ritual — a slow and soulful chronicle of my unfolding. I write about awakening. Motherhood. Identity. The things I’m unlearning. The beauty I’m remembering. The truth I’m reclaiming as I learn to live from within, not for performance.

There’s no promise of consistency here. No perfect content strategy. Just honest writing, offered gently — as a mirror, a moment, a breath.

For the Woman Remembering Herself

You might feel drawn to this space if you, too, have spent years being who the world needed you to be — and are now remembering who you really are.

But this isn’t a guide. It’s a journal.

There’s no curriculum here. Just me, showing up honestly and letting that be enough.

So, if this is the journey you’re on too — the quiet return, the slow becoming —
you’re warmly welcome here, lovely.

Let’s walk this path together, one honest reflection at a time.
